Funeral service for James F. White, 82, will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. White died on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born July 12, 1938, in Baldwin County to David F. White and Elizabeth Wallace White. He was employed as a Building Inspector for Baldwin County for 20 years prior to his retirement. Mr. White was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Berlin Crisis and stationed in Germany. He served from 1962 to December 31 1967 and was honored and proud to serve his country. He was a member of the Durant Chapel Baptist Church. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include: his Wife - Ernestine White, One Daughter - Lisa Buckley (Frank), One Brother - Paul W. White (Lois), Two Grandchildren : Emma and Caroline and Several Nieces and Nephews.
