Jeraldine "Jeri" Horn, age 69, a native and resident of Bay Minette, Alabama, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at her residence.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Rust Constructors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas B. Horn Jr. and Lois Broughton Horn; her brother and sister, Thomas "Tommy B." Horn and Nita Horn Meyers; uncles, John C. Broughton Jr. and James Daniel Broughton.
She is survived by her daughter, Daphne Schwegmann and a loving granddaughter, Kendal Sheehan; two sisters, Toni (Joe) Bush of Natchitoches, Louisiana and Tracy (Jim) Floyd, Beaufort, South Carolina; aunts, Margaret (Carleton) Boutwell, Bay Minette, Alabama, Carol Head, Stapleton, Alabama, Jackie Broughton, Bay Minette; uncle, Mitchell (Nancy) Broughton; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2018 at Durant Chapel Baptist Church, 9551 County Road 138, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time.
Officiating will be Rev. Henry Cox and Rev. Mike Wade.
Burial to follow in Durant Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jarrod Hawkshead, Gaston Hawkshead, Trent Meyers, Randy Lyles and Craig Lyles.
Honorary pallbearers are Blake Hinchey, Joey O'Neill, George Meyers and Kyle Blankenship.
Jeri was blessed to have wonderful caregivers such as Donna Johnson, Andrea Bolling and Bob and Susie Zoerner, who provided exceptional care while she was ill.
