Joan Margaret Urban Robinson, age 81, a native of Chicago, Illinois, a former resident of Rosinton, Alabama and a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018.
Joan retired from Lykes Brothers Steamship Company, working in Mobile, Alabama, New York City, and retiring in New Orleans, Louisiana after 37 years.
She was very generous person, and will be remembered for helping out by giving of herself and by donating requested items anytime she was called upon.
She loved her pets, especially Schnitzel and Lillie. Her life revolved around Mark and her dogs.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Vivian Urban; and brother, Fred Urban Jr.; and is survived by her husband, Capt. Mark Robinson of Gulf Shores, Alabama; dear friends, the F.B. Ellison family of Rosinton, Alabama; cousins and other friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Mack Funeral Home chapel, with interment in the Rosinton Methodist Church Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time.
