John Albert Werner, age 76, a native of Bloomburg, PA, and a resident of Elberta passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020. John was a dedicated father, husband and grandfather. He loved to travel, make new friends and was an avid hunter. He also was a softball coach. John retired from Pennsylvania as a State Policeman. Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Donna Werner. He is survived by his daughters; Sherry Werner of Weatherford, TX, Lynn Clark of Athens, GA, one son; Scott Werner of Wellington, CO., three grandchildren; Kendra, Austin, Houston and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Inurnment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Give Kids the World at 210 South Bass Road, Kissimmee, FL. 34746.
