John Albin Forsman, age 87, passed to his heavenly home on February 13, 2021. Mr. Forsman was born in Pascagoula, MS on March 14, 1933. Mr. Forsman and his wife Marilyn, moved to Fairhope, AL after his retirement. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from First Chemical Corp. as a Supervisor over the Instrument and Electrical Department. He was a member of Church of His Presence in Daphne, AL. Mr. Forsman was a kind man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Forsman was preceded in death by his father, Nester Forsman and mother, Bertice Forsman; his brother, Frank Forsman and his sister, Betty Jo Harris. He is survived by his sweetheart wife of 64 years, Marilyn Sue Forsman; daughters, Pam (Dale) Hawkins of Daphne, AL, Catherine Stevens of Theodore, AL and Johnette (Johnnie) Massey of Fairhope; grandchildren, John Hanley, Brittany (Wesley) Davis and Alison Hawkins; great grandchildren, Zach Hanley, Courtney Hanley, Gavin Davis and Logan Davis; siblings, Pauline Curry, Victor Forsman, Joan Becker, Jerry Forsman, George Forsman and Faith Magallanes. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
