John Edward Coyle, age 77, a resident of Elberta, Alabama, passed away Monday, Nov. 13, 2017.
John served in the U.S. Army and he was a retired banker.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Sallie Coyle; and a brother, Ken Coyle.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Alice T. Coyle of Elberta, Alabama; nephews, Scott Coyle (Tigress) of Milton, Florida, Fred Phillipp (Myriam) of North Carolina, Thomas Phillipp (Jamie) of Savannah, Georgia; niece, Kim Clark (Rick) of Knoxville, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Patsy Coyle of Pensacola, Florida, Sylvia Phillipp (William) of Florence, South Carolina, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held from St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at 2 p.m.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.
Interment will follow at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Elberta, Alabama.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
