SUMTER, S.C. — Harvard football junior safety Tanner Lee picked off two passes to stop a pair of Cornell drives last Saturday in Cambridge, Mass. The Former Daphne High all-around athlete earned the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week award bestowed by the entire conference.

The former Trojan’s two-interception performance helped the Crimson to a 29-13 win over the Big Red. Lee picked off his first interception of the game in the second quarter to stop a Cornell drive at the Harvard 16-yard line. His second pick came in the end zone during the third quarter to halt another Big Red approach to narrowing the score.

Lee improved his career INT count to three and will hit the road with the 4-0 Crimson for three-straight weeks.
