Linda Ann Morgan Wells, 77, of Apex died at 1:43 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Graveside services were held Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Huck officiating. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements. A native of Christian County, KY she was born November 11, 1942 the daughter of the late Hanson Pete Morgan and Virgie Rowe Wall Morgan. She was a retired rural route carrier with the United States Postal Service out of Orange Beach, AL. She was preceded in death by two sons: Scott Wells and Jeff Wells; and a brother: George Morgan. Survivors include her son: Preston (Brandy) Wells of Apex; her sisters: Jackie (Ron) Joiner of Hopkinsville, KY, Wanda Siggers of Santa Cruz, CA, Jean (Robert) Saturley of Elberta, AL, and Carole Barr of Gulf Shores, AL; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
