Louise Coley Estes, age 94, a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017.

Louise was an artist who had exhibits at the National Arboretum, Calloway Gardens and Bellingrath Gardens, among other locations.

She was named the Official Artist of the World Rose Society. Her paintings were included at the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation. Her hope was to capture the beauty of God's world and give pleasure to those who viewed her paintings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Estes; son, Richard Estes; mother, Ethel Coley; and sister, Florence Coley.

Her survivors include her daughter, Barbara Sanders (Wayne); sons, Tom Estes (Becky) and John Estes (Kim); grandchildren, Kelby, Jason (Barbara) and West Sanders, Heather Fowler (John Paul), Josh (Margaret) and Samantha Estes, and Erica and Olivia Estes; 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Fairhope United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends at 10 until service time.

Interment will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Camp Rap-A-Hope or Fairhope United Methodist Church.
