Loxley hosts Christmas parade

LOXLEY, Alabama — Parade goers enjoyed warmer temperatures and avoided rain on Saturday as the town of Loxley hosted its annual Christmas parade.

A variety of floats and vehicles paraded up Hickory Street (Alabama 59) from the Loxley Church of God to the Loxley Municipal Park, including Loxley’s traditional Santa and his reindeer riding on top of one of the town’s fire trucks.

Because of concerns over the Coronavirus, all activities in the park following the parade were canceled this year.
