It’s almost that time of year again, when the Foley Woman’s Club will turn the Foley Civic Center into the magical Wonderland and invite everyone to come celebrate with them at the 14th Annual Mad Hatters’ Fundraiser Event.

The event will be taking place on March 14 with doors to the Civic Center opening at 10 a.m. For 2019, the theme will be “In the Garden,” and attendees are encouraged to come dressed up in some of their favorite costumes, both inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the theme, or their own imaginations.

Tickets are being sold for $30 per person and include: a catered seated lunch; entertainment throughout the venue; a silent auction and gift raffles; a fashion show detailing the upcoming 2019 season; a $500 Pot-of-Gold; a hat parade giving guests the opportunity to show off their designs; and a hat contest where participants will be judged in three separate categories: “Most Creative Theme,” “Wackiest,” and “Most Glamorous.”

One-hundred percent of the profits will go to women and children services in Baldwin County. Last year, the club was able to donate a record amount to multiple services throughout the county, and are looking to keep the trend going strong.
