Marion "Mim" L. Asplund, age 106, of Iron River, Michigan, formerly of Foley, Alabama, passed away on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at the Iron River Care Center.
She was born on July 23, 1912 in Stambaugh, Michigan, the daughter of the late Olaf and Augusta (Ruus) Asplund.
She was employed as a secretary for the Foley High School for over 30 years.
Mim enjoyed many years in Foley living on the Bon Secour River. She had been a member of the Foley Methodist Church.
Mim returned to the Iron River area to make her home in 2000.
Funeral services will be held in the spring, with interment in the Iron River City Cemetery.
