Marjorie Garrick left this life to be with her Lord Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Thomas Hospital.

Marjorie was a native of Grove Hill and a longtime resident of Fairhope. Marjorie graduated from Montevallo in 1943.

She and Woodrow owned and operated Southern Auto Parts in Fairhope for more than 30 years.

She was devoted to her church (Fairhope United Methodist), her very large immediate and extended family, and many friends throughout the community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sheridan McKinley and Lois Calhoun Foulk; her husband of 47 years, Woodrow Wilson Garrick; her daughter, Judy Garrick Boyington; and her granddaughter, Lisa Garrick.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Judy) Garrick, Charles (Tresha) Garrick; daughters, Adell (Tim) Jackson, Amy (Rich) Mason; grandchildren, Jill (Trent) Scott, David (Ellen) Garrick, Michelle Harding, Aubrey (McKenzie) Legendre Jr., Rebecca Wormley, John Garrick, Emily Harding, Paul (Carrie) Garrick, Christina (Roger) Cruz, Truitte Jackson, Hailey (Hamilton) Duell, Gabel Jackson and Stephanie Garrick; great-grandchildren, Lilly Scott, Sutton Legendre, Megan Garrick, Keller Scott, Linux Legendre, Madelyn Garrick, Noah Garrick, Annie Garrick, Brayden Ashley, Boone Duell and Gabriella Cruz; cousin, William D. "Billy" Whatley and countless other Whatley/Calhoun cousins; sons-in-law, Aubrey Legendre Sr. and Paul Boyington; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation will be held at Fairhope United Methodist Church on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 10 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m.

Graveside services will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church.
