Mary Mae Farrow

Mary Mae Farrow was born Jan. 31, 1924 in Caruthersville, Missouri. She was the daughter of Dan and Nell Riley.

She departed this life in Robertsdale, Alabama on Aug. 4, 2017. She was 93 years old.

On Nov. 5, 1941 in Caruthersville, Missouri she was united in marriage to Mr. Lee Woodard Farrow. They were the parents of four children. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2006.

Mary was a very active member of the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church. She sang in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Survived by two sons, Clyde L. Farrow, Hornbeak, Tennessee, Gary Farrow, Orange Beach, Alabama; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Williams, St. Louis, Missouri, Clydia J. Carter, Orange Beach, Alabama; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son-in-law, Tommy Carter.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church.

Interment followed in Little Prairie Cemetery.

Rev. Jerry Mattson officiated.

Pallbearers, Roy Williams IV, Scott Stricklin, Craig Jenkins, Kevin Farrow, Jeff Farrow, Griffin Farrow and Will Farrow.
