Mildred Blanche Krob Evans, 83, born in Fairhope, Alabama to Joseph and Blanche Krob, passed away Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017.

At an early age she moved to Silverhill and attended Robertsdale High School.

Mildred married Ed Evans on Dec. 14, 1951 and she became an Army wife. Mildred and Ed were stationed in Ozark, Alabama, Fort Rucker, Alabama, Ulm, Germany, Monroeville, Pennsylvania, Erwin, Pennsylvania, Anchorage, Alaska, Homestead, Florida then Andalusia, Alabama.

She was a member of the Robertsdale Assembly of God for 28 years. Ed and Milly were U.S. Mission Maps RV Missionaries for 20 years, building churches and changing lives.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward P. Evans; daughters, Karla (Mark) Dauzat of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Marcia Evans of Fairhope, Alabama; granddaughters, Kasey (Robert) Acklin of Huntsville, Alabama, Laura (Grant) Blackburn of Orange Beach, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Kaileigh Acklin and JB Blackburn; sister, Betty (Leon) Givens; brothers, Joseph (Barbara) Krob, Frank (Sheila) Krob, Ken (Collete) Krob; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Robertsdale First Assembly of God Church.

A committal service will be at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Robertsdale Assembly of God Church Building Fund.
