Ms. Ruth Breisten "Boopie" Slater passed away peacefully at her home on Mobile Bay in Battles Wharf on Jan. 3, 2019.
Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers and birds that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who know her.
She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Brockway Stevens and Molly Brockway Bounds; and grandchildren, Charles Jacob Brockway Stevens, Nicholas Chandler Bounds and Taylor Breisten Bounds.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
