Nancy Mae Smith, age 78, a native of Fairhope and a resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
She was a member of The Church of God that Jesus Built, 1631 Whistler, AL. 33612, and a longtime former teacher at Fairhope High School. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Emma Lee Baker Clemon and brother, Louis Agee, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria DeAnna (James Payne) Smith of Mobile; son, George (Sonya) Smith of Daphne; grandchildren, George Smith, III of Jackson, MS, Amaya Smith and Kaya Smith of Daphne; brothers, Frank (Fennie) Clemon, Jr. of Whistler, AL and Clifford (Charlene) Clemons of Mobile; nephews, Chaz Clemons of Mobile, , Curtis Jamal (Brittany) Clemon of Gulf Shores, AL, Jamille Malik Clemon of Madison, AL, Jaden Michael Clemon of Whistler, AL, Louis (Angel) Agee, Jr. and Jason Agee ;niece, Cailyn Clemons of Tuskagee; sister-in-law, Barbara Agee of Fairhope; and a host of other loving and devoted family members and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow funeral service at Memory Gardens in Fairhope.
