FOLEY - Looking for something to do as we get into fall and the upcoming winter? Look no further than the Brandon Styles Theater at OWA, which will be bringing back shows by popular demand as well as presenting some all new activities to enjoy!

“We’re looking to do sort of a transition and not only offer Brandon’s shows, but expand and offer a variety of new shows,” said Booking Manager Diamond Marie. “We’ll still offer Brandon’s performances while expanding what we offer in the theater in general.”

Things will be kicking off with an all new, fully immersive Murder Mystery Dinner Show. The show begins in November and will continue through the rest of the year. Enjoy a plated dinner provided by Groovy Goat before helping Detective Gunn solve a heinous crime! The show’s theme will be set in a 1920’s speakeasy and is presented by ICMTheatre Group. Get ready for a night of interactive, comedic thrills and detective work as you assist to solve the case through physical clues, spoken dialogue, and inferred character motives.

While no dress code is required, 1920’s attire is encouraged. There are no age restrictions for the dinner show. Nov. 6 and 13 are already sold out, with Nov. 20 still available for the 1920’s dinner show! Doors open at 6 p.m., show begins at 6:30 and lasts approximately 90 minutes, and dinner is served around 7 p.m. Social distancing seating restrictions will be followed.

Back by popular demand, December will see the Gulf Coast Comedy Fest return! The next lineup and date announcements are currently in the works. You can find the updated information by following Gulf Coast Comedy Fest on social media.

Also back by popular demand, Trip Down Memory Lane returns in January and February, taking place every Tuesday and Saturday. This year’s setup will be slightly different to follow social distancing guidelines and will offer a plated meal provided by Groovy Goat as opposed to the buffet-style serving.

Styles will perform in the intimate theater setting, singing as nearly 40 classic artists from the 50s-70s. You’ll be serenaded by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond, and Louis Armstrong, plus many more. VIP’s can get in at 4:30 p.m. for a private magic pre-show and meet & greet with Styles. General Admission doors open at 5, with dinner served at 5:30 and the show beginning at 6 and lasting one hour.

When no show is taking place, the theater is available for rent for private events, including weddings, reunions, birthday parties, and more. Styles is also available to hire for private parties and corporate events. Even with the new shows coming to town, you can still catch Styles’ Variety Show throughout the year, where he performs nearly 60 different singing and speaking impressions from a wide variety of celebrities. The fast-paced, 60-minute Vegas-style show offers high-energy, comedy, audience participation, and magic. Speaking of magic, Styles also performs a Magic Show during select times throughout the year.
