BAY MINETTE, Alabama -- A Perdido man is dead and another injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on Alabama 287 four miles north of Bay Minette.

Christopher Adam Black, 44, was killed when the 2002 Ford Focus he was driving collided with a 2006 Honda Ridgeline at 1:40 p.m. Friday at the 5.50 mile marker of Alabama 287.

According to a release issued Friday by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Black was not using a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Honda was transported to North Baldwin Infirmary for treatment of his injuries.

Alabama State Troops are conducting an investigation in the crash.
