The Gulf Coast’s newest entertainment destination is hosting a daylong Summer Celebration on July 21, 2018.

Festivities for OWA’s Summer Celebration include family activities and games inside The Park at OWA, as well as exciting shows and performances outside the gates in Downtown OWA. The gated amusement park will also offer a special ticket price for the event of $20.17 (plus taxes/fees) per person.

“From the day we opened our doors, The Park at OWA has brought smiles to thousands of guests,” said Kristin Hellmich, Director of Marketing/PR. “On July 21st we have a day packed with fun activities and live entertainment. It truly will be a Summer Celebration, and we encourage all our friends to join throughout the day and night.”

In addition to The Park’s 21 amusement rides, various midway games, and brand new splash pad, Downtown OWA will also provide guests with plenty to do free of charge.

Live band “Creativity” will perform on OWA’s admission-free island, playing your favorite tunes in the outdoor amphitheater from 5-8pm. Immediately following at 8:10pm is OWA’s famous nighttime DJ party: GLOWA. Dance to the rhythm of GLOWA’s beats and adorn yourself with fun “glow” apparel in the streets of Downtown OWA. As the music winds down, the night lights up with a fantastic firework show over Lake OWA at 8:45pm. Synced perfectly with your favorite songs, this show is nothing short of spectacular.

The Park at OWA is part of a larger resort destination — OWA — in Foley, Alabama which houses 154,000 sq. ft. of retail, dining and entertainment opportunities in the admission-free Downtown OWA, 16 state-of-the-art sports fields with the City of Foley, an on-site 150-room Marriott TownePlace Suites, and more exciting additions to come in the near future.

“The Park at OWA is one of many amenities that makes OWA a true Southern resort destination,” said Greg Rawls, Director of Business Development for CIEDA/OWA. “As we celebrate this summer season, expect continued growth and expansion of more favorites likes Trattoria, Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, and even more celebrations. OWA will continue to set the bar for entertainment destinations along the Gulf Coast.”

The Park at OWA is open from 10am-10pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018. The celebration will include events and activities inside The Park, as well as Downtown OWA, which opens daily at 11am and is always admission-free.
