Pastor Wendell Rowan Sr., affectionately known as Pastor Wynn, age 77, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020.
He was the lead pastor at Family Ministries Center in Fairhope, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert A. Rowan; mother, Minnie Estelle Rowan; sisters, Linda Dale Rowan, Letha Mae Deal and Margaret Taylor; and brother, Ronnie Rowan.
His survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Rowan; son, Wendell Rowan Jr. (Deneen); daughters, Maria Barnes (Carl) and Tiffany Evans (Michael); son, Derek Rowan (Chloe); sisters, Carolyn Tedrow, Beverly Senn, Mary Joyce Thompson and Jean Willis; brother, Raymond Rowan; grandchildren, Kaylan Rowan, John Paul Blaeser, Joshua Blaeser and Brittany Patrick; great-grandchildren, Miguel DeLeon Rowan, Jay Blaeser, Devanny Rowan, Adeline Patrick and Aviel Rowan; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Family Ministries Center.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Family Ministries Center.
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
