Patricia Ann Fletcher Waldsmith, 75, of Summerdale, Alabama and formerly of the Birmingham, Alabama area, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017.
The more than 20 years that Pat lived in Birmingham were devoted to raising her three sons while working at First Alabama Bank, Colonial Bank, and as a practice manager at a local medical office.
Pat and her first husband were members of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Hoover.
Pat was predeceased by her first husband, David R. Waldsmith; and her parents, Howard A. and Mildred H. Fletcher.
Survivors include Pat's husband, Spencer Allen Valine; her sons, D. Mark Waldsmith, Christopher F. Waldsmith (Dee) and Timothy R. Waldsmith (Angela); five grandchildren, Ben Waldsmith, Ellie Waldsmith, Owen Waldsmith, Laura Waldsmith and Kate Waldsmith; brother, H. Michael Fletcher (Brenda); sister, Margaret Alice Neely (Mike); and loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, immediately followed by the 1 p.m. celebration of Pat's life at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham.
Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. Rev. Reid Crotty will officiate.
