Paul Alan “Dutchie” Garner

Paul Alan "Dutchie" Garner, 57, of Fairhope was born Sept. 24, 1962 and passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2020, surrounded by his family following a long battle with cancer.

He was predeceased in death by his father, Joseph Billy Garner.

Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara LeGault Garner; and his son, Andrew Paul Garner; his mother, Betty Ann Garner; brothers, Billy Wayne Garner and Terry (Amy) Garner; nieces, Candace (Charles) Antinarella and Brittany (Joseph) Antinarella; and nephew, Zachary Garner; sister in law, Carol LeGault; and nephew, Ryan LeGault; as well as great nieces and nephews and many close friends and family.

He was a 1981 graduate of Fairhope High School and an active member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was an avid hunter and fisherman which he enjoyed with his son, father, brothers and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. Dutchie never met a stranger.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow funeral service at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pilots for Christ or the American Cancer Society.
