Peter Carl Fodor, 91, born January 1928 in Alabama, passed Oct. 12, 2019 in Pensacola, Florida where he was a longtime resident.
Retired as a U.S. Army lieutenant colonel on Jan. 19, 1988 and later retired from Monsanto.
Pete was a very devout Catholic who devoted his life to helping others.
Preceded in death by his wife, Elese Deana Shirley Fodor; sister, Vera McGreevy; niece, Donna McGreevy; son, James "Buddy" Fodor; daughter, Martha "Jan" DeVan.
Pete is survived by granddaughter, Katherine (Katie) DeVan Hayes (Philip Andrew); and two great-grandchildren, Paul and Addie of Lawton, Oklahoma. Also daughter-in-law, Ramonda Fodor of Foley, Alabama; niece, Dorothy McGreevy; numerous cousins; and longtime friend and neighbor of 45 years, James O. MacDonald.
Final resting place at Barrancas Naval Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida, next to his dearly beloved wife.
