FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Allen England of Shreveport, La., and Yekaterina Karpitskaya of Biloxi, Miss. clocked the overall best times to claim the 2017 Publix Grandman men’s and women’s titles Saturday in Fairhope. England won the men’s race with a time of one hour, 12 minutes, six seconds. Karpitskaya finished in 1:24:05 for the women’s championship. About 700 people took part in the 2017 Publix Grandman.
