ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Eighteen members of the Robertsdale High School senior class will vie for the titles of Queen and King during Homecoming festivities on Friday, Oct. 23.

Homecoming King will be selected in a special ceremony during the day on Friday at Robertsdale High School. The King will be selected from the following seniors: Grant Driver, Darby Stevenson, Nathaniel Tindal, Jared Jones, Bailey Fisher, Jack Kyte, Seth Egermayer, Noah Adams and Trent Gardner.

Then on Friday night, the Homecoming Queen will be selected during halftime when the Golden Bears host north Baldwin rivals the Baldwin County High School Tigers at J.D. Sellars Stadium.

Seniors vying for the Homecoming Queen include Delia Strack, Chloe Giardina, Sabrina Collins, Maddie Cooper, Caylyn Campbell, Kadence Clemmons, Baleigh Collins, Jordan Both and Brandalyn Sherrer.

Homecoming festivities were delayed after the scheduled game between the Golden Bears and Satsuma Gators on Sept. 25 was cancelled following Hurricane Sally and Robertsdale’s game against Gulf Shores, originally scheduled for Sept. 18, was moved to Sept. 28.

Additional members of the Homecoming Court include freshmen Chloe Hopper, Chloe Ash and Kenzie Kostelecky; sophomores Maddison Pouncey, Reese Skipper and McKenna Campbell; juniors Lena Spears, Ali McDaniel, Abby Larkin and Brooke Sterling.

Because of concerns due to the Coronavirus, there will not be a parade, pep rally or dance this year.
