BAY MINETTE, Alabama — A special ribbon cutting was held Saturday, June 1, at Light of the City to officially kick-off the summer day camp program in Bay Minette. This also served as a time to showcase some of the new amenities available at the Douglasville School of Arts & Recreation.

APSO helped paint and spruce up the grounds while FFA students built and installed raised garden bed as well as picnic tables.

North Baldwin Center for Technology is partnering with LOTC to provide plants and equipment for the community garden through a grant awarded by the North Baldwin Coalition for Excellence in Education.
