Rita “Christine” Weeks
Christine went to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, August 17, 2020 while surrounded by family. Christine was born December 6, 1933 to Luke and Nettie (Amos) Byrd of Foley, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Elizabeth Hance; brothers, Buren, Ray and Ralph Byrd; sisters, Helen Lovelace and Louise Norris. Survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Norbert “Butch” Weeks; son, Jerry Hance; grandchildren, Lana Mills Ham, Rodney (Misty) Mills, and Tim Emery; great-grandchildren, Athena, Aeres and Athen Ham, and Kaylee Kelly; sisters, Sylvia (Norman) Boggs, Linda (Royce) Whitehead and Brenda (Lewis) Carson; numerous loving relatives, extended-family and friends.
The family will receive friends at 9:00 AM Monday, August 24, 2020 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Funeral services at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Magnolia Springs. Followed by internment at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
