Rozanne Ingram Jones, a longtime resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, lived her final years in Fairhope, Alabama and died Sept. 26, 2019.

She was born Dec. 1, 1923 in Centre, Alabama to Sallie Johnston Ingram and Robert B. Ingram, and lived a rich life of almost 96 years.

Rozanne studied nursing at the former Hillman Hospital in Birmingham, now UAB, and worked as a registered nurse for approximately 40 years at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

She enjoyed a strong faith throughout her life and was a tireless steward of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was an active member for over 60 years.

Happily married to Gordon Bryon Jones for 42 years, together they raised two loving daughters, Suzette and Jeri.

Rozanne was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Byron Jones; her sister, Barbara Ingram Lydic; and her brother, Robert B. Ingram Jr.

She is survived and missed by her daughters, Suzette Jones Adams (Jerry) of Kingwood, Texas and Jeri Jones Harrison (Bill) of Point Clear, Alabama; grandchildren, Amanda Adams Hornyak (Richard) of Buda, Texas, James Byron Adams of Dallas, Texas and Skye Li Harrison of Point Clear, Alabama; great-granddaughter, Audrey Elizabeth Adams of Dallas; many loving nieces and nephews; and a lifetime accumulation of dear friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled in the future.

Rozanne had multiple charities she supported throughout her life, including The Chattanooga Area Food Bank, The Wounded Warrior Project, and Children of the World, Fairhope, Alabama.
