Sally Paceley Godard, age 83, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
Mrs. Godard was a retired English teacher at Daphne High School. After retiring, she became a volunteer at Thomas Hospital and a tireless volunteer with Friends of the Fairhope Library.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph "Billy Joe" Godard.
She is survived by her son, Joe Godard of Gulf Breeze; daughter, Leane Godard Johnson of Fairhope; grandchildren, Cliff Godard and Alex Athey; other loving relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Colony Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Fairhope Public Library.
