The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce kicked off the 2019 Leadership Series Luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 19, with guest speaker Brigadier General Stewart Rodeheaver with Vizitech USA. According to Vizitech’s website, “Vizitech is changing the way America learns by providing 3D, augmented reality, and virtual reality learning programs and technology for K-12 education and corporate training.”
During the event, Rodeheaver showed those in attendance how Vizitech is developing augmented reality technology as well as alternatives for holograms. The company is currently used in multiple schools across the nation, and Alabama is one of the leaders in utilizing Vizitech’s cutting-edge technology. Rodeheaver was invited to speak at the series to show county leaders what’s being done in the field of virtual reality, and how it can be used to teach students and trainees in an interactive, safe environment.
