Tom Watson Swindle, age 88, a resident of Elberta, Alabama, passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2019.
Tom was a retired machinist supervisor from NAS Pensacola and enjoyed living his last years with his son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Sandra Carden. Tom had also served in the Navy and was a devoted Shriner and 32nd-degree Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Vaughn Swindle; parents, Gleason and Trudy Swindle; brothers, Bill, Joe, Jack and Sam Swindle; and sisters, Mary Crawford and Ruth Gant.
Tom's clown-like humor will be missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He will be laid to rest at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens, 1985 W. Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL.
Graveside services to be held Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019 at 10 a.m.
