SUMMERDALE – The Town of Summerdale invites both veterans and active servicemen to join them on Monday, Nov 13, to partake in a special Veterans Day program hosted by the town. The program will take place at Summerdale’s November council meeting, which is held at the town’s Municipal Court building, located at 502 W Lee Avenue, beginning at 6 p.m.

During the program, attendees will be treated to a performance by Four A Change, who will present the National Anthem, as well as a program being put on by the youth from Robertsdale Assembly of God.

Since the program’s inception, the town has been collecting photographs of veterans and presenting them in a slideshow, and anyone is welcome to drop off their photographs to the town hall to be added to the collection.

Each veteran and serviceman in attendance will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves and tell the audience where and how they served or are serving.

The program is free to all, and there will be gifts for each person attending. Refreshments will be served after the program.
