Voncil Taylor Statom Faust, age 85, a longtime resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 after a short illness.
Voncil loved art, reading, travel and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Barker (Richard) of Richmond Hill, Georgia and Rebecca Statom of Spanish Fort; son, Richard Statom (Irene) of Florence; grandchildren, Amanda Barker and Ian Barker of Richmond Hill, Georgia; numerous relatives and friends.
She will be remembered for her courage, resilience and loving nature. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She exemplified her motto of "Live, Love, Laugh."
Visitation will be held Monday, June 12, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
