Elberta Farmers Co-op hosted Wildlife Management Seminar Aug. 8 at the Elberta Fireman’s Hall. Over 50 men, woman and children were in attendance.

Captain Don Reaves, Sgt. Kevin Hill, Officer Cory Price and Officer Steve Schrader were on hand to review the new regulations and answer questions.

The new Alabama Bait Privilege license was the main topic of discussion. The license gives you the privilege to hunt whitetail deer and feral swine over bait within Alabama for all hunters of all ages. This license is required in addition to appropriate hunting license at the cost of $15 for residents.

The Bait privilege license can be purchased on the Alabama Outdoors website or any location where you purchase your hunting license.
