William Allan Hoke Sr.

William Allan Hoke Sr., 63, of Pensacola, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2017 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Allan was born in Selma, Alabama on Oct. 24, 1953 to Michael Nardin Hoke Jr. and Florence Hillhouse Hoke.

Allan attended Selma High School. He was employed by H&H Manufacturing for many years until he and his family moved to Orange Beach.

Allan became a business partner at GRJ Blinds for 15 years and then worked for Brett-Robinson Properties until he retired.

Allan was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Donna McIntyre Hoke; his son, William Allan Hoke Jr.; his daughter, Hailey Hoke (Sean) Pope; five grandchildren, Jaylyn, Mac, Chase, Kyler, Sean Jr. and Ryan, all of Pensacola; his stepmother, Bernice Hoke; his brothers, Mike (Susan) Hoke of Birmingham, Alabama, Dan (Gail) Hoke of Selma, Alabama; and his sister, Mary Lea (Richard) Roselle of Nashville, Tennessee.

Allan will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

There will be a celebration of Allan's life held on April 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Orange Beach Pier in Waterfront Park in Orange Beach, Alabama.
