32nd Annual Strawberry Festival set this weekend in Loxley

What: 32nd Annual Baldwin County Strawberry Festival
When:
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14
Where: Loxley Municipal Park, 4198 Municipal Park Drive (Alabama 59).
Details: The annual festival, held every year since 1987, raises more than $40,000 per year, split between the Loxley Elementary School PTO and ARC of Baldwin County. This year’s festival is presented by Wind Creek Casino & Hotel, Atmore and Baldwin EMC.
What to expect: The festival features 165 arts and crafts exhibitors, a dozen different food vendors, including the festival’s World-Famous Strawberry Shortcake, served by volunteers with the Loxley Elementary PTO; a carnival with children’s game, antique auto show, exhibits and live music.
Parking: Parking is free on the festival grounds or free shuttles will be provided from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday by the Baldwin Regional Area Transit System (BRATS). Shuttles run continuously throughout the festival from the Baldwin County Board of Education building, located at 1901 B Ave., Loxley.
