Crawfish event in North Baldwin changes from cook-off to carryout

BAY MINETTE, Alabama — The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is moving forward with its Annual Crawfish Event on Saturday, June 5, but because of the threat of the Coronavirus, instead of a Crawfish Cookoff, this year’s event will be a Crawfish Carryout.

“This year’s event may look a little different, but we assure you that all your favorite fixings are included,” said North Baldwin Chamber President/CEO Ashley Jones Davis.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. at the Kahalley House banquet hall, 400 W. Second St. in Bay Minette. Takeout orders will include approximately three pounds of crawfish and two pounds of corn, potatoes and sausage.

You can also enjoy live music from Ryan Balthrop on the front porch of the Kahalley House as you arrive to grab your carryout.

Orders are $22 in advance per person or $27 on the day of the event. You can order online at Eventbrite.com (search for Crawfish Carryout Benefitting the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce).
