DAPHNE – The city of Daphne has released an app that will allow residents to receive communications from the municipality.

Mayor Robin LeJeune said the MyDaphne app is now available, but developers are still working to improve the product.

“We’re in the infant stages of that app,” LeJeune said. “So, we’ll get better with it and a lot more information will be coming out. We know we had some communication issues over the last few years and this is one of the solutions that we’re going to have to reach our citizens.”

The MyDaphne mobile app available in the Apple and Google Play App Stores. Anyone wanting the app can search MyDaphne and then download the service.

The app includes links to the city website, COVID-19 updates, the mayor’s office, local news, community events and public notices.
