It’s ‘back to school’ for Baldwin County students on Friday

Posted

There will be school on Friday and all Baldwin County School System offices will be running on a regular schedule, according to a release sent to all BCBE employees, parents, key communicators and media Thursday by Baldwin County Schools Superintendent Eddie Tyler.

“Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we worked together to keep our Baldwin County Public Schools family safe and off the roads during this treacherous winter weather,” he said. “I, for one, hope that this is the end of our harsh winter weather for this year.”

Tyler sent out a special thank you to county commissioners, Sheriff Hoss Mack and to the EMA and National Weather Service, “who ALL truly have the interest of our safety and wellbeing at heart.”

Tyler also issued a caution to all those who will be traveling the roads on Friday.

“Please take your travel a little slower in the morning; roads could still be slippery in some areas, especially in the northern most part of the county,” he said. “As always, watch out for our school buses.”
