Joan Dorgan Dworzanowski, our dearest mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Joanie (Granny Joan), entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 10, 2019. She went peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

She will be dearly remembered for her loving personality, her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor.

She was born June 12, 1944 in Mobile, Alabama and was a longtime resident of Baldwin County.

She was preceded in death by son, William Anthony Johnson; grandson, Marcus Alan Ellis; parents, Benjamin and Evelyn Wilcox; sisters, Ruth Mayberry, Mary Blackwell, Lydia Salter.

Survived by her children, Thomas A. Johnson Jr. (Andrea), Christopher D. Johnson (Gina), Joylee J. Zemanek (Lada), Donald W. Johnson (Krista), Melanie J.Barrois (Rusty); siblings, Hazel D. Carlee (Lloyd), Andrew (Sonny) Dorgan (Marie), Margie D. Farr (J.W.), Clara D. Johnson (Jackie) and Benjamin Wilcox Jr. (Connie); host of grandchildren, Thomas III and Julianne Johnson, Kaysie, Kyle and Kaitlyn J. Urfer (Seth), Jennifer Ellis, Amber Tillman. Kristen H. Jarvis (Mike), Kelsey Hammontree, Courtney J. Martinez (Eric), Cameron Johnson, Christian Johnson, Andrew, Bayli and Mackenzie Barrois, and Amber Coleman; great-grandchildren, Jaelyn Hammontree, Paxton and Vivienne Jarvis, Jensen Johnson, Jeremiah Barrois, Ellie Dell Urfer , Asher Martinez, Joshua, Jaden and Jacob Ellis, Brayden and John David Coleman.

She was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Robertsdale, Alabama.

Visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, Alabama on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Funeral services will immediately follow.

Interment will follow at Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
