Michael A. "Mike" Swoboda, age 58, a native of Silverhill, Alabama and resident of Summerdale, Alabama, passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018.
Mike was an avid fisherman. He loved the outdoors, including hunting and doing almost anything outside.
For the past 11 years he had a lawn care business and was a good friend to many of his customers.
Mr. Swoboda was preceded in death by his father, Charles A. "Chick" Swoboda; and is survived by his wife, Tracy Hinote Swoboda; daughter, Miranda (John) Smith; two sons, Christopher (Michelle) Dearborn, Max Dearborn; like-a-son, Matt (Juliana) Lemon and their children, Savannah, Jackson, Ryder and Hunter; mother, Gloria Swoboda; sister, Joann (Mitch) Hubbard; nephew, Jantzen Hubbard; and two grandchildren, Trinity and Ty.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Silverhill Covenant Church, with burial in the Silverhill Cemetery, Silverhill, Alabama.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. at the Silverhill Covenant Church.
