Thelma Lee Kearley, age 96, was the widow of Clarence Kearley, born and raised in Conecuh County, Alabama to B.L. and Mamie Smith. She was the second child of 10 children.

She was a lifetime member of Spanish Fort First Baptist Church, she was an outdoor person, loved her flowers and enjoyed doing yard work.

She loved to meet with her friends at Robertsdale, Loxley and Foley senior centers, where she also loved to dance. She bowled for over 30 years.

Due to her ailing health she moved from her home in Spanish Fort to "The Blake at Malbis" in Daphne.

Mrs. Kearley was preceded in death by brothers, Howard Smith, Hurley, Edward, Vernon and Lavon Smith; sisters, Elizabeth Hamrac and Jeanette Boone.

Mrs. Kearley is survived by one sister, Melba Franklin of Seale, Alabama; many good friends; a devoted friend and caretaker, Richard Pistone of Fairhope, Alabama; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of the service.

Interment will follow in Jubilee Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
