FOLEY -- Glenlakes Golf Club, featuring 27 holes of unforgettable golf, has been widely regarded as one of the Gulf Coast’s premier golf facilities and the area’s best value. The links style 18-hole course and the 9-hole Lakes course provide two different styles of golfing experience. Players of all abilities will find that Glenlakes is both enjoyable and affordable.
The 9-hole Lakes course was the original design by renowned players and architects Bruce Devlin and Robert Von Hagge. The ever so difficult back nine to “The Dunes” was the next addition and finally the front nine of The Dunes was added to distinguish the 18-hole course from the Lakes nine. The Dunes course is a Scottish links style track that stretches 6,938 yards with par equaling 72. There are four sets of tees to accommodate players of all abilities.
The Lakes course is 3,100 yards with par being 35. This course will remind you of resort-style play with water coming into consideration on six of the nine holes. The Lakes course also has a variety of tee areas for repeat play at a very affordable price. Snowbird memberships are available.
Glenlakes is located 2.5 miles down County Road 20 just off Route 59 in Foley (turn by Lamberts Café).
