Over the last few weeks, two Fairhope city employees have resigned or announced their intention to step down soon.

Fairhope Purchasing Manager Dan Ames left his position in November with the city.

Ames had served as the city’s purchasing manager since Oct. 2007.

During the Nov. 27 Fairhope City Council work session, Bobby Hall, the director of the city’s Quail Creek Golf Course, announced he would be leaving his position on Dec. 31.

Hall has served in the position since Jan. 2006, bringing with him 30 years of experience as a golf professional and a 25-year membership in the PGA of America.

Hall thanked the city for its support during his years on the job.

“I want to thank you all for a great tour and a great run,” Hall said.

Both positions are currently listed on the city’s website, with the purchasing manager salary ranging from $51,109 to $81,775 and the Head Golf Professional position ranging from $51,108.98 to $81,774.38.
