Baldwin County Tigers finish with most wins in team history

BAY MINETTE, Ala. -- Baldwin County High School Varsity Soccer had a stellar season, recording 19 wins to become the winningest men’s soccer team in school history. The team was led by the scoring of David Garcia who booted 55 goals this season alone, earning him his own spot in the record books. BCHS scored a record-high number of All-State honorees this season.

David Garcia and Wil Dobbins were selected first team All-State. Dobbins made first team last year as well, becoming the first BCHS player to do so back-to-back, and Garcia was the only sophomore in state selected for first team honors.

Fellow All-State honorees included Chris Stewart and Tylor Davis, second team, and Tony Spradlin, honorable mention. Stewart and Garcia were members of the All-State second team last year.

The team also had five players make All-County and All-Region including Wil Dobbins, David Garcia, Chris Stewart, Tylor Davis and Tony Spradlin and one player, Josh Burton, was selected for the North-South Soccer Team.
