Big Beach Brewing Company stays open for curbside and online sales in wake of COVID-19 concerns

Small, local businesses and those who work for them may be some of the most affected by COVID-19 precautions being put into place across the country and southeastern United States. In response to rising concerns surrounding the new coronavirus (COVID-19), Big Beach Brewing Company’s taproom has been ordered to close by the State Health Officer of Alabama. However, Big Beach’s crew is keeping busy with curbside beer sales.

When Big Beach Brewing Company opened in October 2016, they set out with one mission: To provide the local Alabama beach community with locally brewed craft beer made with integrity. With the pending outcomes of the coronavirus in the weeks ahead, Big Beach Brewing Company has decided to shift focus to canning brews for to-go sales effective March 19, 2020.

Big Beach Brewing Company has launched online orders for pickup and delivery as of March 19, 2020. Orders can be placed online for both to-go beer and merchandise at: https://squareup.com/store/bigbeachbrewingcompany - you can also pickup your to-go beer curbside by calling ahead at 251.948.BEER or simply stop by their pop-up tent out front at 300 E. 24th Ave., Gulf Shores, Ala. Valid photo ID is required at time of purchase. Pickup and to-go orders will be available daily from 12 p.m.-7 p.m. CST.
