City of Orange Beach providing free childcare to residents and city employees

The City of Orange Beach announced March 16, they will provide free childcare for working parents to help during the closure of area schools.

 

Orange Beach residents and City of Orange Beach employees can register their children for Camp Sunshine or Expect Excellence. The free program will run weekdays from March 18 through April 3 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.

 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:

- K-second-grade students can register at Camp Sunshine upon arrival. Anyone already registered for Camp Sunshine need only sign the updated hold harmless form.
*(Currently registered Camp Sunshine students in third - sixth grades will remain in Camp Sunshine)

 

- Third – sixth-grade students can register for Expect Excellence by following the link below.
If you are registered for Expect Excellence, there is no need to register again. However, you must still fill out the form at the link below to sign an updated hold harmless waiver.
