Clifford Martin Street Sr., age 77, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018.
He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Fairhope where he taught Sunday school for 23 years and also served as a deacon and deacon emeritus.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He was a farmer in Baldwin County for most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilliard and Matel Street; and a sister, Elizabeth Cox.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Devine Street; sons, Cliff Street Jr. (Kristie) and Ken Street (Lauren); daughter, Laureen Street Bell Davis (Tony); grandchildren, Maegan Bell, Cassidy Bell, Hannah Bell, Josh Bell, Savannah Street, Clifford Martin Street III "Trey," Kate Street and Kendall Street; brothers, H.V. Street, Buddy (Elizabeth) Street and Harold (Cathy) Street, all of Fairhope; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Fairhope, from 5 until 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Fairhope.
Mr. Street will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will follow in Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
