Gulf Shores High School celebrates ACT 30+ Club

Gulf Shores High School celebrated the achievements of 19 high-achieving students Feb. 21 at the ACT 30+ Club Luncheon and Honors Ceremony. This year, 19 students have achieved a 30 or higher on the ACT.

Many special guests in attendance to help celebrate the students accomplishments included: Mrs. Jackie Zeigler, State Board Representative; Mayor Robert Craft, City of Gulf Shores; Gulf Shores Board Of Education Members—Mr. Kevin Corcoran, Mrs. Dale Jernigan, Dr. Nicky Gotschall, Mrs. Kelly Walker, and Mr. Frank Malone; Dr. Matt Akin, Superintendent; and Dr. Stephanie Harrison, Assistant Superintendent.

The luncheon was held at the Adult Activity Center. Coastal Catering generously donated lunch for those in attendance.

Several 30+ Club members were at HOSA State Competition and Scholar’s Bowl and were unable to attend the luncheon.
